I want to join a dating site but am afraid of what's out there. I would like to meet a quality person for a long term relationship. Any suggestions on ones you'd recommend? Am in Los Angeles if that makes a difference. I had put up a nice one on Craigslist but got some immature responses.

For many younger people, like high schooler, sex is as common as using the toilet-nothing special, so they have sex on the first date... For older adults, they wait a bit till they get to know the person... Waiting until marriage runs the risk of marrying a person who is sexually incompatible, so you shoud know you are compatable before making a lifetime commitment... For most adults these days- How long does it usually take until sex occours? After a few days of dating? A few weeks? A month? My experience has been about 3 weeks..

Speaking from a teenagers perspective I have absolutely no idea how long it takes adults. But sadly these days teens can wait anywhere from a first date up to a few weeks maybe. I'm only 15 and one of my friends has already slept with 5 different people :|

I would say what is typical is within three dates. How long do people nowadays wait to have sex when first dating? When should you invite a guy over for the first time? How long should you wait before having sex for the first time? I would say within a month or six dates. We're in our late 30's. Thx. Does it not work out into a relationship if you have sex within two weeks or four dates? Thanks.
